Developing the next generation of Bridon Ropes players
Bridon Ropes FC is proud to be expanding its youth pathway for the 2026/27 season, creating more opportunities for young players from Charlton and the surrounding community to enjoy football, develop their skills and grow with the club.
Our expanded pathway will feature teams at:
- U8X
- U11
- U14
- U15
- U17
- U21
The aim is to provide a clear and progressive route from youth football through to senior football at Charlton’s only non-league football club.
A pathway for local players
At Bridon Ropes, we want young players to develop in a positive, supportive and enjoyable environment. Our youth programme is about more than just football – it is about building confidence, developing character, making friends and giving young people a genuine sense of belonging within the Bridon Ropes family.
As the club continues to grow, the expanded pathway will allow more players from our local community to get involved and develop their game while working towards the opportunity to represent Bridon Ropes at senior level.
Hear from the Youth Pathway
Chris Miltiadous, Head of Youth Pathway, said:
“We are excited about what we are building at Bridon Ropes. Our focus is on creating an enjoyable, well-organised environment where young players can develop both on and off the pitch. The new teams will enable us to offer football to more young people from the local community while strengthening the pathway towards our senior sides.”

“Developing opportunities for young people in our community is central to the future of Bridon Ropes. We want local players to grow with the club, represent their area and see a genuine route from youth football through to our senior teams. This is an important step forward for the club and one we are very proud to be taking.”

Open Trials
We are currently holding open trials for our new youth teams ahead of the 2026/27 season.
