The Ropes begin their season at home this Saturday

Competitive football returns to Charlton this Saturday as Bridon Ropes begin the 2026/27 SCEFL Division One season at home to Staplehurst Monarchs.

Following a busy and productive pre-season, the squad and management are looking forward to getting the new campaign underway in front of the home support.

The match takes place on Saturday 8 August, with kick-off at 3pm at Meridian Sports & Social Club.

Admission is £8 for adults, £5 for concessions and £2 for children. An online family ticket for two adults and two children is also available for just £10. Supporters are reminded that anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

With Charlton Athletic away from home, it is an ideal opportunity for local football supporters to get behind Charlton’s only non-league club and enjoy an afternoon of live football in the community.

The clubhouse will be open, with Sky Sports, pool, darts and hot food available.
