Bridon Ropes secured a dramatic 2–1 victory over Lydd Town at Meridian Sports & Social Club, with a stoppage time winner sealing all three points and marking the first win under new manager Uche Ibemere.
Bridon began with purpose and took a deserved lead on 25 minutes. Emmanuel Oshinowo applied the finish to cap a well constructed move and give the hosts a 1–0 advantage.
Lydd responded after the break and drew level on 65 minutes when Tyler Sterling converted from the penalty spot, setting up a tense and finely balanced final period.
With the match deep into added time and the points still in the balance, Bridon showed belief and character. In the 90+7th minute, Elias Ahmed struck the decisive winner, sparking jubilant celebrations among players and supporters alike.
