First team ready for the new season

Bridon Ropes’ first-team squad and management are ready for the start of the 2026/27 SCEFL Division One season following a productive summer of preparation.

First-team manager Uche Ibemere and his management team have worked hard throughout a particularly hot pre-season to ensure the players are prepared for the demands of the new campaign.

The programme began with an invitational tournament at Coldharbour and included fixtures against Aylesford, Soul Tower Hamlets, Whitstable Town, AMG Ballerz and Stansfeld Reserves.

The standout result was an excellent 5–2 victory away to Step 5 side Soul Tower Hamlets. The Ropes also produced a strong performance on the road against higher-level opposition at Whitstable Town, providing another valuable test for the squad.

Beyond the results, pre-season has allowed Uche and his management team to work closely with the players, build fitness and prepare the squad for the competitive challenges ahead.

With those preparations now complete, the squad and management are ready to get started when Bridon welcome Staplehurst Monarchs to Charlton on Saturday.
