Bridon Ropes launches expanded youth pathway
Bridon Ropes FC is delighted to announce an expanded youth pathway for the 2026/27 season, creating more opportunities for young players from Charlton and the surrounding community to enjoy football and develop their game.
The pathway will include teams at U8X, U11, U14, U15, U17 and U21 level, providing a clear route towards senior football at Charlton’s only non-league club.
As the club continues to grow, our aim is to provide a positive and supportive environment in which young players can develop their ability, build confidence and feel part of the wider Bridon Ropes family.
Head of Youth Pathway Chris Miltiadous said:
“We are excited about what we are building at Bridon Ropes. Our focus is on creating an enjoyable, well-organised environment where young players can develop both on and off the pitch. The new teams will enable us to offer football to more young people from the local community while strengthening the pathway towards our senior sides.”
Chairman Mick Puszyk added:
“Developing opportunities for young people in our community is central to the future of Bridon Ropes. We want local players to grow with the club, represent their area and see a genuine route from youth football through to our senior teams. This is an important step forward for the club and one we are very proud to be taking.”
Open trials are being held for our new teams ahead of the 2026/27 season.
