Community has always been at the heart of what we do. Football is about more than results – it’s about creating opportunities, building confidence, and inspiring the next generation.
That’s why we’re excited to be working with Leigh Stationers Primary Academy, supporting their pupils with a brand-new kit and a series of after-school coaching sessions.
A Fresh Kit for the Team
Few things excite young players more than pulling on a new strip. The school’s footballers will now step out in a smart kit that not only looks the part but also gives them a sense of pride and belonging. It’s a simple gesture with a big impact, helping the children feel valued every time they represent their school.
Coaching to Build Skills and Confidence
The partnership goes beyond kit. Our coaches will be running regular sessions open to children of all abilities. The focus will be on developing technique, fitness, and teamwork, while also encouraging qualities like resilience, respect, and enjoyment of the game.
The aim is to give every child a positive football experience – whether they go on to join a local club, represent their school, or simply enjoy kicking a ball with friends.
Stronger Links with the Community
This project reflects the importance of schools and clubs working together. For pupils, it means fresh opportunities, structured training, and new equipment. For us, it’s a way to give back to the community that supports us week in, week out. Grassroots football only thrives when everyone pulls in the same direction, and this partnership is a great example of that.
Looking Ahead
We often talk about the importance of nurturing young talent, but that doesn’t just mean those already playing for us. The future of the game depends on creating chances for all children to take part and fall in love with football.
By supporting the pupils at Leigh Stationers with both kit and coaching, we hope to spark ambition, build confidence, and create memories that last well beyond the final whistle.
We’re proud to support the next generation of local footballers – and we look forward to seeing them flourish on and off the pitch.
